Origami – information

I like origami. This is one amazing art,
where the paper comes alive in your hands. I would like
to create an interesting blog for different origami.
Every day I will publish at least one in the
Category Origami and I hope soon together all of us
to enjoy our own works!

I will begin with a description:

What is origami?

Origami is an object, an animal, and many more things,
made in a 3D format with only paper. It is not permitted to
cut an origami model. You usually start from a square
shaped sheet of paper. But that paper is no ordinary one.
I suggest you use rise paper, because it is thinner and it
can stand the harder origami, where we have many foldings
and bendings. If you use ordinary paper we shoud choose to
make smaller and less complicated origami. The paper itself
can be colourfull. There are interesting origami made from several
parts. Example for that is this star, made from six identical parts:

So. Lets begin from the most important.
Unless you know the origami by heart you should consult
the diagrams, to create the models. In the world of origami
there are simbols, that are worldwide known and are usually
used in diagrams. I digged them out here:

understand the origami paper folding!
